Using ANI Files:
- Briefing animations use .ANI type files.
- Save any new .ANI files in a "data/interface" directory.
- The mission must access the .ANI file.
Creating ANI Files:
- The Volition DOS utility AC/ANI is used to create .ANI files from .PCX files.
- The .PCX files must be 150 x 200 pixels.
- All .PCX files combined into an .ANI file must use the same 256 color pallette.
- Number the .PCX files sequentially with a 4 digit number (for example, new0000.pcx, new0001.pcx, new0002.pcx, etc.)
- The utility can be used to create animated or non-animated .ANI files, depending on the .PCX files used.
