Demangel @ 01/13/01 (possible spoiler)This mission rocked... I am a big fan of Bab 5.
You right about this being a tough mission, especialy since I assume you are supposed to get your ship shot out from under you LOL. Having all forces lack shields was the perfect touch. The first time I tried it I played it on the medium skill level, and got my butt handed to me after about 12 minutes and FOUR (count em Four!) kills! My pc lagged a bit, but with all that action it was worth the trade off. Then I tried it on very easy... and managed to limp into a victory all enemy capitals destroyed... However the last two I just sat back and ordered the destruction of since I was badly damaged. My only recomendation is: If the terran forces are to be accurately shown in this mission, the designer should have cut down on the number of respawning terran ships. Also to make it really cool try adding a cease fire order on the part of the menbari ships maybe 20 mins or so into the battle... That way victory would not need to be at the loss of the capitals... know what I mean sorry about long post! PS all the sound additions where great! AWESOME JOB!
Carbon Cycle @ 02/10/01 The presence of Sound files alone make this mission worth it.
A Freespace 2 mission with Beam weapons would be even better
mrfun @ 04/02/04 Great for a quick adrenaline rush, especially with the music the author chose. Kinda rough as a dogfight trainer, hard to fight with no shields and at least 10 fighters shooting at you all the time, but loads of fun.
