Description
You are a mercenary hired by Powers Industries. Your mission is to undercut a rival company, Global Corp., by destroying their latest shipment of weapons technology. (note: if you open this in FRED, it will give you an error message stating that Alpha 1 is an invalid message source, but the game handles this event fine.)

Storyline: 5.0 Stars
The story is very original and interesting. You and your wingman commence a surprise attack on an enemy convoy and replace the convoy's ships before the Global Corp.'s research vessel meets up with you. The mission now contains one of the best Command Briefings I have ever seen, fluidly describing the GBI, Global Corp., and your own company you are working for.

Balance: 4.5 Stars
You can only fly a GTF Ulysses fighter in this mission, but there's more than enough missiles and guns to equip both you and your lone wingman with whatever weapons you want. Although the lack of enemy fighters remain in the updated mission, the AI has been increased for the enemies to give you a better fight.

Design: 5.0 Stars
Great design throughout the mission. There are a lot of messages to keep the player informed of what's going on in the mission, the ships use all three axis, and there's even a nice little sexp that allows you to self destruct some Fusion bombs by pressing a key.

In the updated version of BTC, the Theia is destroyed upon remote detonation, making for a more believeable mission.

Gameplay: 5.0 Stars
Even if the updated version of BTC is a little on the short side, it is a lot more fun to play than it's earlier version. The author did a tremendous job of fixing all of my complaints about the mission in a short amount of time. Great job!

Other Thoughts:
I'm on a roll! This is my third review this week!

Bottom Line: Good mission, even if it is on the short side.
Highs: Fun, original story, great mission design.
Lows: Short.
