What's the Multiplayer like in Descent: FreeSpace?
The multiplayer mode is being worked on by the people at Volition-Inc. Multiplayer is playable for a good amount of people who have upgraded their version to 1.03.1. The problem is being looked after. If you have a model slower than 56k you may experience some gaming problems. Hope you have a fast connection.
How much does FreeSpace cost?
FreeSpace should be available in leading computer and gaming stores for less than $25 in the US. Other countries' prices will vary.
What are the system requirements to play FreeSpace?
The "official" system requirements are below.
Minimum Required:

However, to run this in Very High detail, system requirements skyrocket. Below are the requirements that I recommend to get the "full" FreeSpace experience:
- Pentium II 266 MHz

Where can I get more information about FreeSpace 1?
Our sister site, FreeSpace Watch extensively covers both FreeSpace and FreeSpace 2. You should be able to find most anything there related to FS2 (except, of course, missions/mods/etc., which are right here!) and even some l33t humor! H4W!
