Description
The Knossos gate to Sol has been finished. The Shivans have punched through thre remains of our fleet. All military craft have arrived at the gate for a final defense. We must get the convoy through to Sol, then collapse the node from both the inside and outside to ensure we will surive. You must fight in the last slaughter for our survival.

Storyline: 2.5 Stars
Not the most original storyline I’ve ever seen in a user-created mission. It’s another one of the return to Earth in a Knossos device missions. This time you are defending a convoy that is coming from out systems to Earth (you are already in Sol). You get slaughtered by a massive Shivan fleet and are no match for them. A Sol defense fleet shows up with mysterious new technology and wipes out the Shivans. This is what we call “Battle of Endor Syndrome.” This mission also lost points on storyline due to all of the grammatical errors and spelling errors in messages, the command briefing, briefing and debriefing.

Balance: 2.0 Stars
The balance of this mission is horrible. At the beginning of the mission, all of your forces get wiped out and you are the only fighter (or ship for that matter) left from the GTVA in this area. You are outnumbered by several Shivan corvettes, destroyers, a Sathanas, and a ton of fighters. Suddenly the Sol defense forces show up and wipe out the Shivans. This mission gets very annoying at the fact that the balance goes back and forth.

Design: 4.0 Stars
Despite how bad this mission was, it was still designed pretty well. They had messages for just about everything and they were set very closely to events. Every time a ship would die, they would display an original and unique message. I really liked the way this mission was designed, too bad about the rest of the areas.

Gameplay: 1.0 Stars
ItÂ’s really not fun watching all of your wingmen and friendly ships die while you have to struggle to survive. Then you have some friendly ships show up that are marked as unknown and you canÂ’t even target them because they are stealth (they should only be unknown and stealth to the enemies). I really could not stand how this mission flies.

Other Thoughts:
Major Battle of Endor mission.

Bottom Line: If you like getting wasted by your enemies, you'll love this one.
Highs: Uhh.. um.. pretty good design, okay storyline.
Lows: Anything other than listed above.
