Description
With the Shivans trapped in Capella, the GTVA can continue research in the abandonded nebula beyond Gamma Draconis. The newly built 15th Fleet will be heading into the unknown.

Storyline:
The storyline of this mission was indeed a unique one. The mission featured an eight stage command briefing which pretty much explained the storyline for the campaign that this mission is the first of. However, their were a few grammatical errors in the mission which led to it not getting a perfect rating.

Balance:
There was one Orion class destroyer and a Leviathan class cruiser that attack your fleet after you scan your AWACS ship that is having difficulty with itÂ’s sensors. Along with the NTFÂ’s capital ships are three Ursa bombers, four Perseus interceptors, and four Loki fighters. This is definitely not even a battle compared to your fleet filled with corvettes, a new Colossus class ship and three wings of fighters.

Design:
I thought the design of this mission was very good despite the gameplay and balance. At the beginning of the mission, there is a pretty long time where you sit there and read messages from other ships, but it is neat because they have your wingmen flying around following waypoints that were set very well. It makes your wingmen look like they are actually good pilots and sets a cinematic feel to the mission. The only reason this mission didnÂ’t get a 5 on design was because of the fact that at the beginning their were no events to scan a ship that you were supposed to (which there should have been), and the music didnÂ’t really fit the mission in my opinion.

Gameplay:
I had to give this mission a pretty poor score on gameplay because your wingmen could have beaten this mission without you which is a pretty rare thing. When I played this mission, I had 10 kills, but my wingmen could have easily gotten them. The mission did, however, have a certain fun factor to it which made me give it a mediocre score on gameplay.

Other Thoughts:
I think this would be a very good mission for the author to update and put more fighters in to it. It could get a much better score with better balance and gameplay.
