This is the ULTIMATE FS2 Alternate Story campaign. The MOD is very easy to install and includes two new player flyable ships, over seven new beam weapons, and two brand new primary weapons. This campaign has taken almost a year to complete. Enjoy.

Even with the problems I encountered I thought the campaign was great and gave it a high score due to the new beam weapons, ship weapons and the new ships. Highly recommended ! |

Version 1.3 Final fixes ALL bugs! Now you can play the last few missions that were previously unavailable. Enjoy.

Just played the 1.3 ver and it was w/o the bugs that were in the first. Nice campaign with new beams and upgraded weapons. |

Wow, big glitch with 1.3! Can't believe No one ever made a comment about that! Anyway, The Hercules Mk 2 is now flyable throughout the game! Thanks to new Allied Worlds lead beta tester David Rainey for assisting me with this correction. Version 1.4 fixes all bugs and should be the Final Version of Allied Forces. Enjoy. |

some campaigns show lots of effort, this is definetly one of them, the whole affair is very polished, and it is evident that he spent a lot of time working on it and making sure it was spot on.
The bad side for me is i found the overall story line rather weak, the missions and sub-campaigns were interesting, but the fact that a bunch of satanists were taking on the galaxy was.... dodgy...but and heres a big but a lot of campaign developers should take into account, is a lot of back ground info was written for it, ok so i may not of thought the satanist story was brilliant, but i knew all i needed to know about the universe and principle characters
Over all an enjoyable experience, if your creative talent was put to a more believable story youd have one hell of a campaign as opposed to a damn good one |

The Expansion is the final version of Allied Forces. Be sure to look for the prequel 'Allied Worlds' sometime in June. |

A great campaign. Mr. Harris clearly put up a lot of effort into this.
I didn't give it a perfect score because all the text material between missions gets kinda dreary, and, despite having a lot of missions in this campaign (Too many in my opinion) they are not very different from each other, and get repetitive, BUT overally it is a very well made campaign, not buggy, missions are not too long and don't make you fly ridiculously long distances for no reason like others I've seen, and the modified ships and backgrounds (plus the beams and weapons!) are pretty cool.
I recommend, for the man who has the patience for 45 missions. |

This is overall a good campaign. Who could believe that Alex Harris, creator of the absolutly horrible Special Ops Command campaign, had a good part in creating such a great one here? The only guess is that when he made the Specual Ops Command, he wasn't part of Wolfpack studios. Anyway, this is a great campaign, with few bad points.
Let's start with the Cons.
-Storyline
The storyline was not to my liking. Your enemy was the Forces of Jake, a terribly lame name to put an enemy as. Satanists also were taking control of the galaxy. Although possible, very unlikely that they could've gotten such a big army in 20 years. Not to mention, the storyline was fairly in a straight line-that is, although a few twists, was only destroying the FoJ.
-Realism
Okay, I know that this is a GAME, not a real life experience. So I know that you can't expect a good, realistic game of this genre. However, I find it very poor that one pilot, Alex "Fox" Harris, could take out basically anything. I know it's cool to make yourself look like Sephiroth, but it's lame to everyone else. Also, to make it worse, a second pilot, Jeanette Romier, I think was her name, was just like "Fox." And, the Mulciber was invincible to everything but Juggernauts. Very lame. You were also expected to take out wing after wing after of fighters in a few missions. This is not usually a problem, and there's really not much that can be done about it.
Now, let's look at the Pro's.
-Effort
Many things were modified into this campaign. Although I do not like editing vital game statistics, the creator obviously wanted to make this experience unique. And it was. Almost everything was modified in at least ONE way! So, whether the modifications are good or bad, you'll like them...
-Overall Gameplay
The most important part of any campaign is how fun it was to play. In my opinion, and obviously that of MANY others, this was a FUN campaign to play. Despite the lame parts of the storyline and the modifications that I don't like, it was VERY fun to play, and that's what counts. In this campaign, it was the first time I got to fly an Astaroth, a fighter I've been itching to fly.
-Good Mission Design
This speaks for itself. The missions had few flaws (if you could find any at all), and were not just blow-em up type missions.
So, overall, this is a good campaign. A lame storyline and un-realistic parts are the bad points. However, the fun of playing this campaign, and the obvious effort that was put into it, and the good mission design makes this campaign a 7 out of 10. Download this NOW! |

It would be nice to have the mods in high resolution. |
