Description
With efforts at an all time low in creating an intersystem subspace drive for fighters, the Antares Repair Installation has been chosen to undertake a dangerous manoeuver. It's DEFINATLY something you don't see everyday.

Storyline: 3.5 Stars
Wow. I say again, WOW. Most of the plot is so-so, concerning the research that lead to fighter-sized system-to-system jumping, but the idea of a whole damn installation taking a trip gets major originality points. A nice briefing, too.

Balance: 2.5 Stars
Not much to say in this section. There's a nice set of ships available, and while it's a bit on the easy side, Bon Voyage overall is well-balanced.

Design: 3.0 Stars
Overall, the design here is flawless. However, a few things must be noted: the two science ships "dock" with the Arcadia by flying into the donut hole and then warping out, sans special effect. Those watching closely will see them zoom out of the donut hole at amazing speed and then abruptly vanish. Moreso, there are secondary objectives to protect each (individually) but defending both, an easy task, yields a Bonus Objective. Dang, and I thought we were behind the days of tasks most would complete anyway making an Objective succeed. Overall, not much to say here either. Except... My GOD! An Arcadia jumping out! The size of that jumpnode effect... you could fit a few DEMONS in that thing!

Gameplay: 3.0 Stars
A simple, fun escort-defense mission. Nothing to get excited about, but plenty of stuff to kill.

Other Thoughts:
It's worth it just for the sight of an Arcadia jumping out.

Bottom Line: Fun, well-balanced, a damn Arcadia jumping out! No real problems; just not better-than-good. You know what I mean?
Highs: Good gameplay, an Arcadia jumping out.
Lows: Nothing really... just not major Highness.
