Description
Weapons shipment needs protection. Protect the cargo and don't let it get destroyed! Many enemies will try to stop you and even a surprise guest!
Storyline:
Supervise a cargo transfer between two ships. Don't have any clue what the weapons shipment IS or where it is GOING, but I guess that's a "secret." Also have no idea WHY both the Shivans and Vasudans attack the ship, but I'm sure that's also classified. Or maybe it's just a big conspiracy to keep Alpha in the dark.

The misison briefing is rather uninspired. The icons are all concentrated in the lower left hand corner of the briefing screen.
Balance:
Alpha may choose any fighter, but will be limited only to medium-power weapons (up to Avengers and Flails) and missiles. A reasonable choice considering the weak hull of the enemy fighters, but each wave seems to remain a limited threat.
Design:
Directives appear before the enemy fighters arrive, so you know to expect three waves. It is interesting to note that none of these directives mention the fighter wing you were warned about in the mission briefing.

Ship placement needed more work. The enemy fighters jump in a little too close to the action for my tastes, resulting in enemy wings arriving and launching a missile salvo before you know they're there.

The mission atmosphere is sterile and flat. The Chronos transport just sits after docking, like a beached whale, until after the Vasudans are eliminated and it can leave. There are no messages and the objectives are redundant. Not much really happens in Area 7.
Gameplay:
Enemy wings consist of only a few wings containing weak fighters, so there really isn't much of a threat to Alpha or Chronos. As the wings arrive, you can destroy them easily in a leisurely dogfight. However, the enemy fighters don't threaten even the sitting duck Chronos.
