Description
This mission is what i thought unstoppable mission should have always been, fun and CHALLENGING. I am sick of all of the easy missions, so i made this, a strait up dog fight, with 3 huge capital ships...for advanced users only =].

Storyline: 0.5 Stars
The Alliance is sending you and 8 other pilots to take down 3 Shivan cruisers because of your "unforgettable" performance on your last "unforgettable" mission. I'll say this much: The stench of this storyline is unforgettable all by itself. What was this unforgettable mission? I guess the author forgot because he never says anything about it. The most information you'll get out of the mission is in the one-stage briefing that has no icons. That's right - Nothing.

Balance: 1.0 Stars
Ship selection is good, as you can choose any Terran or Vasudan ship, but that's all. As far as weapons go, don't expect to be facing off against the Shivans with anything powerful. You'll only get to choose between a few of each warhead, except fury missiles which won't even come in handy either way. It gets worse, so read on if you dare.
Remember those three Shivan cruisers mentioned earlier? They aren't cruisers at all. In fact, they just happen to be three Lucifer class destroyers. You heard me, 3 Lucifers! Not only that, but they're guarded by 3 wings of Basilisk fighters (Against your single wing of fighters and freighters - Don't ask). FRED reveals that two Typhon destroyers are supposed to enter in 10 minutes, but it's not like you'll still be alive by then.

Design: 0.5 Stars
Horrid. The three Lucifers have been tossed into a wing and just sit around with no orders at all. The picture is just as bad for everything else in the mission. In fact, NOTHING has orders, it's just a bunch of ships sitting around on the same Y plane (Did I mention that?). Not only that, but the fighter wings (And freighter wings, see below) are scrunched together, so beware of fender benders.
To make matters worse, your only help in taking down the enemy destroyers is a wing of freighters. Am I hallucinating or is there a reason for this? The freighters get wiped out a few minutes into the mission by the destroyers' super lasers. The briefing didn't mention a wing of freighters, and where are those 8 pilots? I only see 2 other ships besides mine.
Alos, there aren't any messages, or any events at all for that matter. Frankly, I'm shocked there's a primary objective thrown in there.

Gameplay: 0.5 Stars
Terrible. Half a star rating is almost too generous in this category. How can you take down 3 Lucifer class destroyers with a wing of three Hercules? Even if you outfitted your wing with Ursa bombers, you still have 3 wings of Shivan fighters to deal with! You'll be dead long before those Typhon's show up, and if you did live to that point, it'd take forever for all those Lucifers to fall. Missions designed to be difficult shouldn't be impossible.

Other Thoughts:
You can catch a bit of a photo opportunity at the start of the mission when the Lucifers are shooting at the freighters.

Bottom Line: Not a very high quality mission in general. If getting killed or mauled is your thing, go ahead and download it.
Highs: Good ship selection. Nice shot of the Lucifer destroyers using their super lasers.
Lows: Nasty briefing, balance, game play, and design.
